This was the first project that I was given the opportunity to creative PM and produce a big portion of the set design from start to finish. Easier said than done.

STORY TIME: One of the set accessories included custom slush cups. After rounds of design and production, I receive the cups 3 days before the activation. I quickly realize that I don’t have lids for these cups. 500 cups and no lids, shit…
I called everywhere, even drove two hours outside of LA in search for these lids. No luck.
Shortly after that 2hr drive, I stopped at a 7/11. After grabbing a water, I turned to my left and gazed upon the slushy machine. My attention immediately went to the lids. I had a cup in my car, so I grabbed the cup, took it inside the 7/11, and measured the lid. Perfect fit!
Throughout the next two days, I negotiated with five different 7/11’s to get about 350 slushy lids.
This is when I really learned the definition of “By Any Means Necessary”
