My first introduction to the world of UX/ UI. Sparked my interest for sure, leading me down a pretty cool path.

About:

This project began as a 2-day activation for complexcon, then it swiftly turned in to a first-of-its-kind sportswear and music collaboration endeavor, adidas sound labs. The soundlabs music campaign sought to find new and talented musicians to compete for a chance to work with top musicians and producers in an effort to create and release original music.

Roles and Responsibilites:

Oversee the design and launch timeline of the SoundLabs submission site

Manage Internal and External communications between clients, stakeholders and soundlab contestants.

The Challenge:

Create a digital space that will attract potential contestants in the Los Angeles/ California area to submit music that will be heard by a panel of 5 notable musicians and music marketing judges before the 2-day Complexcon activation.

The Solution:

Work with UX/ UI Designers and developers to create a site that would give individuals information about the Soundlabs competition, as well as info on how to submit music, while maintaining SoundLabs and adidas cross collaboration branding.

Credits:

Launched the Soundlabs platform with a submission of 800+ in a 2 week period.

Worked with judges to narrow submissions to 15 finalists.

Collaborated with stakeholders and contestants to schedule finalist meeting with Grammy nominated artist Pusha T during Complexcon.

Successfully helped adidas and soundlabs complete its first Soundlabs music contest
