The adidas sport club was activated during both weekends of Coachella on the Zenyara property for 2 back-to-back weekends.
Off the heels of a number of Q1/Q2 running activations, Yes I once again I found myself PM’ing designers and fabricators to design pieces that would help curate the space.
From sports, music, to cookouts, and after parties, I worked with my team to run logistics on programming throughout the property during the 2 weekend activation.

Story Time:
I had a few hundred custom basketballs and soccer balls created for the sports programming on the premises. As the event approached, while the tracking said the ‘balls arrived on the premises, the production team my agency collaborated with said they did not receive the correct quantity of items. After calling my vendors and shipping companies, and receiving no solution to my problem, I was flabergasted. I went on to purchase a smaller qty of ‘balls from local stores in the Palm Springs area to make sure the activation when on as planned. As the 2nd weekend of the activation was coming to an end, I was asked to pick up some items from the partnered production company HQ. After receiving the items I went the form I was told that there were some additional boxes with my name on it that had been taken to their HQ. When I walked over to the boxes, I immediately realized that those boxes contained the hundreds of ‘balls I thought we lost in the shipping. I HATE EVERYBODY.
2 things I learned from this project, check everywhere for solutions, even the most obvious of places, and even when you’re running on fumes, you’re still running. Keep up the energy.
The amount of self starting motivation that went into this project was endless.
