I spent my time at adidas working on programs that highlighting brand launches, communities of impact and brand sponsored athletes. From Community Superstars, to SEED, to SoundLabs, the opportunities provided at adidas catapulted my growth in strategy, design, and production. Check out the work below.


PUSHA T X SOUNDLABS X COMPLEXCON

THE CHALLENGE

adidas wanted to launch their new EQT shoe in collaboration with rapper Pusha T at Complexcon. The trade booth needed to effectively represent Pusha, EQT, while integrating the adidas Sound Labs program. 

THE SOLUTION

Produce a booth to display the new EQT while integrating an “office” for Pusha T to interview finalists in the Sound Labs online contest, all while simultaneously engaging ComplexCon consumers through interactive displays.

ADIDAS X EVERYDAY SUPERSTAR X LA/NYC

THE CHALLENGE

Adidas felt that the Superstar sneaker had lost its appeal to target consumers, and wanted to inject excitement into the product for its 50th Anniversary via interesting placements and high-impact collaboration.

THE SOLUTION

Produce 50th anniversary teaser events in NY & LA that will engage students, as well as leaders currently shaping the culture through art and community. These events will give credibility back to Superstar, as well as invite students to envision the Superstar through their own unique lens.


ADIDAS X SEED

SCHOOL FOR EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION IN DESIGN

ABOUT:

SEED, School for Experiential Education in Design, a 2 year in-house design program that seeks to pipeline women of color into the footwear industry. Through foundational elements of footwear design (curriculum, special projects and stretch assignments), design students have the opportunity to land a career within the adidas global org once successfully completing the program. 

THE SOLUTION:

Contribute to the team as a creative project and program manager, securing opportunities with business units and design communities across the adidas global network to facilitate the 2 year design program.


FOOTLOCKER X BYB X ULTRABOOST19

THE CHALLENGE

adidas wanted to create awareness around the Ultraboost19 running shoe, and promote engagement and sell-through for both streetwear and running cultures.

THE SOLUTION

Produce a mini-run called “Boost Your Block”, taking participants to notable places in Miami and Santa Monica with local cultural ambassadors, murals, giveaways, and an after party that will gain the attention and participation of different communities throughout each city.
